BBQ Coconut Shell Charcoal -Why?

Schwarzberg grill Cocos are hard BBQ coals made from coconut shell bark. They glow faster than charcoal briquettes, get hotter, are square or egg-shaped and therefore more efficient to transport, no tree is cut down for them, only 5% ash remains and there is virtually no smoke. It really is a solution for us; this way we might keep the neighbors here happy a little longer! Used in Spain in all renowned restaurants including the 3-star restaurant Can Fabes

The base is made of coconut bark with natural binder.
Not a single tree is sacrificed to make this product this unlike charcoal.
Every thousand kilos produced saves 50 trees 15 cm in diameter that are normally felled to produce the same amount of charcoal.
Quality controls throughout the process guarantee:
Constant high quality: selection of the best pieces of Coconut peel, Best quality from Schwartzberg directly from the local entrepreneur,
CO2 positive and good for nature:
It is very economical !Consumption is only 1/3 of what you normally consume in charcoal
Once lit, no unexpected flames come up even if fat drips on it, this ensures that the dish does not burn.
It burns for a long time (2 ½ hours) at a high temperature, keeping the aromas in the dish. It is odourless and produces no smoke when it burns only when lit a little. It is well and compactly packed so it takes up less space. It is clean, dust-free and soot less. Only 3% ash remains when it is burnt up.
What to grill on high heat

It takes about 15 - 20 minutes for the Schwartzberg Briquettes to reach high heat. Steaks, burgers and dense vegetables like corn cobs and onions can handle high temperatures.Grilling on high heat is the best trick to get that perfect sear on the outside but keep the inside juicy. To increase the temperature, open the vents to let in more oxygen. To lower the temperature, close the vents - but not completely, or the fire will go out!

When grilling on high heat, create a zone with two fires: pile more charcoal on one side of the grill for higher-temperature cooking, and the other side of the grill should have less charcoal for lower-temperature cooking. While grilling, sear food on the hot zone and then move to the cooler zone to continue cooking without burning.
After grilling, let the meat rest for five minutes on a cutting board. A board with a groove running around the perimeter is the perfect board because it catches all the juices released by the steak.
